I am the founder of PMJ personal training and sports fitness-based at two venues; Soul Train Athletic, Dronfield and Structure Sport and Fitness, Sheffield. I have been providing strength and conditioning to World Champions, professional and amateur athletes, since 2011. 


Graduating with a BSc from the University of Glamorgan in Sports Science and Rugby and gaining further coaching qualifications via the National Association of Sports Medicine (NASM), Precision Nutrition (Pn) and Online Training Academy (OTA) as a;

Collaborating with the Derbyshire Institute of Sport as the lead coach working with young, talented athletes from a multitude of sports from across the north of the county.

I worked at Peak Performance Centre of Excellence as part of a multidisciplinary team of physiotherapists, rehabilitation experts and strength and conditioning coaches I was the lead team sports conditioning coach and corrective exercise specialist for 2 years.

An Expert in strength and conditioning coaching, both in-person and online. I have been providing coaching support to elite and amateur athletes alike since 2011. Helping athletes from a variety of sports including, bike trail, rugby union, rugby league, golf, badminton, football, and athletics, by using sound scientific principles, with the continuous development of coaching skills and techniques, and bespoke programming.

The training is designed with the aim of aiding in sporting performance. A needs analysis of the individual and their sport is used to design and then implement a specific training stimulus to improve performance and reduce the risk of injury.

In-person coaching

One to one coaching in-person that provides the athlete immediate feedback in:

  • Exercise selection

  • Loading

  • Volume

  • Accountability

  • Programme adjustments due to 'other' factors

Online coaching

Online coaching provides you, the athlete, the ability to train on days and times that work for you. It may not be practical to see your coach in person, this could be due to work commitments, other training commitments for the sport, or geography.

hybrid coaching

Hybrid coaching is a combination of both in-person and online coaching. If you want in-person support but your schedule makes it impractical to meet your coach regularly, this is the ideal format for you. You can arrange an extended in-person coached session as and when works for you to look at exercise techniques, make adjustments and troubleshoot any other issues. Then receive the same top quality support via my online support in-between.  

Small group coaching for children  11-16 years of age teaching them the fundamentals of training for athletic development and injury reduction.

Online and hybrid coaching specifically for athletes who compete in Bike Trial.
